No! Not me! Not yet anyway… that is still coming. But thank you for being so optimistic about my ability to change overnight. I meant the blog. And now that you are here…. what do you think?
After attending the #ECMeetUp I realised very quickly that I needed to get my “Ish” together regarding this space I so dearly love. Luckily I won a logo design from the incredible Ruby Rose Designs this made things SO easy. Raqual is an absolute dream to work with! I feel like I was especially difficult because I was full of a whole lot of completely unrelated ideas. She firstly didn’t make me feel crazy which was a big win! Thank you Raqual!
Within a few short emails she had some ideas for me to have a look at and choose from. We then narrowed them down to two and did a few tweaks. Completely open to all my ideas and suggestions, I loved this experience with her and more so the final product! Out with the old and in with the new!!!! I even changed my picture to my new natural curly haired self!
My new logo encapsulates all this blog stands for with a play on “time” inside the hourglass if you look closely are cute little detailed objects reflecting all the roles I play and all the parts of my life which take up my meantime. In my cover image, Raqual so kindly, found a way to keep the children’s pictures which was a part of my first look that I LOVED! Emilie draw my first cover photo which were we able to keep. Daniel’s handprint in on the laptop – from when he was 5 months old. It means so much to me!
This is definitely a big push in the right direction in terms of my “new” perspective in terms of my look that I spoke about in my last post.
